a jeweler determine its size using a slide tool, ring size charts etc. If you cannot take the ring to the jeweler, you can try it on your finger and feel how tight or loose it is and see where it would fit on your fingers. Mark a place and compare that to the jeweler’s graduated tool. If you are still in doubt, it is better to choose a slightly larger ring size because it is far easier to decrease the size than add metal to make it larger.
